Lamentations 3:21-26
This I recall to my mind,
Therefore I have hope.
Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,, “Therefore I hope in Him!”
The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him.
It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.
As humans we have to remind ourselves, or as Jeremiah says in the above verse “this I recall to my mind”. We would think the power and glory of God being so awesome it would be like indelible ink on our minds and on our hearts, but strangely, we still need reminding.
We need reminding even more so during this time when we are not physically together.
Take time to remind yourself, your family member’s and your friends that Jesus is Lord of all. Take time to pause and just think about His absolute greatness and His superiority. Think about how His power is made perfect in our weakness.
So don’t hold onto to artificial strength, but rest is His supernatural power to do all things. He is working out all things for those that love the Lord. And He is even working out things even now.
We do not know everything, but we do know this one perfect truth, we have a great and all powerful God who loves us!
May His power and His grace be manifested richly in your lives this day and may His love give you peace.
God bless
Pastor Michael
